Pearl Companies Contributes to Children's Miracle Network

At the Children's Miracle Network telethon held on June 1, Greg Johnson, President of Pearl Technology in Peoria Heights, Ill., was pleased to present a check for $2,500 on behalf of Pearl Companies to benefit the Children's Hospital of Illinois. Donations during the telethon hour of 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. were matched up to Pearl's $2,500, meaning at least $5,000 was raised during that time.
Each year, Children's Hospital has over 5,000 admissions; 2,000 newborn deliveries; and 16,000 emergency department visits. It is the third-largest pediatric hospital in Illinois and the only full-service hospital for children in central Illinois. Money donated to this special cause is certain to be used to benefit the many children and their families during an emotionally and financially troubling time.
